INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Central Indiana will briefly see temperatures near average before a warmer end to the weekend into early next week.

TODAY: Temperatures will not be as warm as Friday. Skies will be partly cloudy. High temperatures near 40 degrees.

TONIGHT: No problems in the forecast if you are heading to WWE Royal Rumble at Lucas Oil Stadium this evening. Clouds increase to mostly cloudy. Some spotty areas of drizzle may develop in the early morning hours. Low temperatures in the low to mid-30s.

TOMORROW: Mostly cloudy and a touch breezy on Groundhog Day. Winds gusting to 25 mph with high temperatures in the mid-50s.

7-DAY FORECAST: On Monday, high temperatures will reach the upper 50s, with potentially a few challenging 60 degrees in the state. Our forecast pattern remains relatively quiet until late Wednesday and Thursday. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible during this timeframe.
