INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Temperatures were barely above average on Saturday. This Sunday, central Indiana will be turning more mild.

TODAY: Cloudy to mostly cloudy skies are expected for Groundhog Day. High temperatures will be in the low 50s, and winds will gust to 25 mph.

TONIGHT: Skies remain mostly cloudy along with above-average overnight lows. Low temperatures in the low 40s.

TOMORROW: Temperatures will soar above average. Mostly cloudy skies go back to partly cloudy at points. High temperatures near 60 degrees.

7-DAY FORECAST: A milder-than-average pattern holds for much of the week, just not as warm as Monday. Rain becomes likely on Wednesday with a few rumbles of thunder possible. A trailing cold front then moves through the state on Thursday with rain chances still around.
