BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (WISH) — IU men’s basketball has reportedly added another high profile game to its non-conference schedule for the 2025-26 season.
The Hoosiers will reportedly take on Louisville at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on December 6, 2025.
IU and Louisville have played each of the last two seasons. IU won in 2023 at Madison Square Garden in the Empire classic, 74-66. Louisville dominated the Hoosiers in 2024 in the Bahamas at the Battle 4 Atlantis, 89-61.
It will be the seventh time IU and Louisville have played since the 2014-15 season. IU leads the overall series 12-9.
The game is set for the same day as the Big Ten Football Championship Game, which will be at Lucas Oil Stadium.
This is the third power conference matchup that IU has scheduled for the 2025-26 season. The Hoosiers will play Marquette at the United Center in Chicago and Kentucky at Rupp Arena.
