Purdue takes down IU with clutch bucket by Trey Kaufman-Renn

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WISH) — Purdue took down IU, 81-76, at Mackey Arena after Trey Kaufman-Renn gave the Boilermakers the lead with 11 seconds remaining.

Purdue got a stop on the ensuing possession, blocking Myles Rice’s two-point shot.

Purdue has won three straight games against IU.

IU was leading 41-37 at halftime.

Braden Smith led Purdue with 24 points.

Mackenzie Mgbako led IU with 25 points.
