INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Protestors on Monday gathered at the Indiana Statehouse for the 50501 movement.

The name of the movement stands for 50 protests, 50 states and one day, and serves as a response to the current Trump administration.

In Indianapolis, protests included ones against cutting programs for diversity, equity and inclusion, and Elon Musk’s DOGE, Department of Government Efficency.

State Rep. Maureen Bauer, D-South Bend, encouraged protestors to stay involved or run for office to support their causes.
