The suspect who allegedly carried out a terrorist attack in New Orleans’ French Quarter early on Wednesday morning had an ISIS flag with him, according to multiple reports.

The news comes after the FBI said in a statement that the incident was being investigated as an act of terrorism after the suspect rammed a white pickup truck into a crowd of people and then got out and opened fire at police before he was killed by law enforcement.

At least 10 people were killed in the attack, and 35 more people were injured.

The FBI said in a statement that the suspect “has been identified as 42-year-old Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a U.S. citizen from Texas.”

“Weapons and a potential IED were located in the subject’s vehicle,” the statement continued. “Other potential IEDs were also located in the French Quarter. “When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true,” Trump said in a post on social media. “The crime rate in our country is at a level that nobody has ever seen before.”

“Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department,” he continued. “The Trump Administration will fully support the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of pure evil!”
