New bird flu quarantines in Jay and Adams Counties

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indiana officials are quarantining more Indiana farms after health officials discovered new bird flu cases in Jay County and Adams County.

The new quarantines affect 1.3 million birds, which live on commercial egg and duck farms. This year, 14 farms have been quarantined in just Jay and Adams Counties alone. Millions of birds in Indiana have died or been euthanized because of the virus.
