SPEEDWAY, Ind. (WISH) — A juvenile suspect is in custody Sunday after leading Speedway Police Department officers on a stolen vehicle pursuit.
Around 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Speedway officers were involved in a vehicle pursuit of a stolen vehicle that began in the 1800 block of North Lynhurst Drive. The pursuit ended in the 7400 block of River Walk Drive. The juvenile suspect briefly hid in a body of water in an attempt to evade police. The stolen vehicle did not enter the water.
Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officers found the juvenile suspect in the 7700 block of Eagle Valley Pass. He was taken into custody without incident.
