The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) eliminated Hamas terrorist leader Yahya Sinwar on Wednesday in southern Gaza.

Sinwar was killed along with two other terrorists in a building where there were no signs of any hostages being present, the IDF reported. Israeli soldiers saw the terrorists enter the building and ordered a strike against it.

A senior Israeli official told the country’s Channel 12 that DNA testing has confirmed that Sinwar was among the three terrorists who were killed.

Photos that circulated online that purported to show Sinwar’s body show that he was trapped under rubble after the building he was in was leveled. He had a giant hole on his forehead that appeared to be caused by a slab of concrete falling on him.

The 62-year-old was the mastermind of Hamas’ October 7 terrorist attack in which thousands of terrorists stormed into Israel early in the morning and massacred more than 1,200 people.

More than 5,000 people were injured, and hundreds more were taken hostage.

Iran’s Islamic regime knew about Hamas’ October 7 terrorist attack at least several months in advance, according to a wave of newly released documents that were discovered months ago inside Gaza.

Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei has publicly claimed that Iran had nothing to do with the attack and was not aware of its planning. However, the documents obtained by various publications debunk this false claim.

It has already been established that hundreds of Hamas terrorists received “specialized combat training” inside Iran from the country’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps-Quds Force (IRGC-QF) in the months leading up to October 7.

Iran sent Hamas at least $10 million, the documents state. But Sinwar wanted more and launched a “vigorous appeal” directly to Khamenei, requesting $500 million over the course of two years and training for 12,000 Hamas terrorists.

“Iran trained Hamas and encouraged them to do exactly the things they did on Oct. 7,” said Farzin Nadimi, an Iran expert and senior fellow with the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. “Their goal was to get to the core of the Israeli state and crush it.”
