Indy hosts Global Entrepreneurship Network Congress in June

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Indianapolis is preparing to host thousands of entrepreneurs and innovators from around the world this June, as the Global Entrepreneurship Congress comes to Indianapolis for the first time.

The event is expected to draw international attention and elevate the city’s profile on the global business stage.

Among those involved in organizing and promoting the event is WISH-TV contributor Emil Ekiyor, a familiar figure in both sports and civic engagement circles.

Ekiyor is particularly focused on creating stronger business ties between Indianapolis and African countries, he said during a conversation with News 8 anchor Dakarai Turner.

Ekiyor said he sees the Congress as a chance to build bridges and expand opportunities for mutual economic growth.
