The Children’s Museum dinosaurs celebrate March Madness

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — The three dinosaurs models outside The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis are ready for March Madness.

The museum says the new look celebrates the city hosting the Midwest regional of the NCAA men’s basketball championship at Lucas Oil Stadium starting March 28.

Crews dressed one dinosaur with a custom-made big whistle around its neck and a giant basketball underneath its foot.

Meagan Hook, manager of social media and digital content for the museum, said Monday, “Over the past couple of years, our production team has had a lot more creativity and time to develop really cool costumes. Like solar eclipse glasses, Olympic medals. It’s going to be something we continue throughout our 100th anniversary year. So, there is definitely more to come. So, right now what better in March than basketball.”
