INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Frigid air has been in place to start Monday and will continue to be around this week.

TODAY: We are starting off with sunshine this Presidents’ Day. Clouds will increase as the day goes on. Spotty flurries will be possible later today into tonight. High temperatures in the upper teens.

TONIGHT: Mostly cloudy with isolated flurries in a select few locations. Any spots that see light flurries could add on a quick dusting to the snow already on the ground. Wind chill values could drop to as low as -10 in the early morning. Low temperatures in the single digits.

TOMORROW: Partly to mostly cloudy skies are anticipated. Daytime hours will likely remain dry for most before our next system.

Winter Storm Watches have been issued for southern Indiana late Tuesday into Wednesday. Heavy snow is expected along the Ohio River and into Kentucky. Accumulating snow is still looking possible for many south of I-70 in Indiana. Check back in with us on this forecast, we should have a better idea soon on exact snow amounts.
