The Boone County coroner, along with officers from the Florence police department and deputies from the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, are on scene at the 2600 block of Ridgecrest Drive in Florence.
At this time, officials have not spoken to our crew on the scene or released a statement.
Our team spoke with a neighbor who says they were at the party at a residence with his family. He said around 2:15 a.m., after he left the party, he heard what he thought were fireworks, and now believes it to be multiple gunshots.
Authorities have not yet confirmed this was a shooting.
