In a sweeping interview, Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk and Daily Wire editor emeritus Ben Shapiro discussed “Identity Crisis,” a new film from both organizations that unmasks the “graphic brutality” of so-called gender transitions.
“Identity Crisis,” which premiered today and is free to stream on X through the weekend, scrutinizes the radical gender ideology movement, with a sharp focus on the societal failures enabling the continued mutilation of children.

Kirk says the film is an “accompaniment” to Matt Walsh’s “What Is A Woman?” and it will delve deep into “one of the moral crimes of the century.”
“This goes deep into the severity and the graphic brutality and the medieval nature of what transitioning actually is,” Kirk said.
The trans agenda, according to Kirk, “cloaks itself on its surface … as live and let live.”
“But it’s never been about that,” he continued. “Instead, it’s like, ‘No, allow me to propagandize your 13-year-old child, and then put them under general anesthesia and chop off their breasts because it’s good for them.’”
Shapiro says that the same “Normie Revolution” that swept Donald Trump into office could bring about a change to the transgender status quo,
“Because the Democrats have lost their minds and because they’ve swung so far to the Left, what that means is that what we are actually seeing is something that I’ve described as the ‘Normie Revolution,’” Shapiro said. “What we’re seeing is, it is now subversive to just be normal.”
In Trump’s second term, Kirk hopes to build support for a Department of Justice crackdown on hospitals and care centers that embrace “gender-affirming care” and perform sex-change surgeries on minors.
“This is one of the moral crimes of the century,” Kirk said. “We’re exposing it in this movie.”
“Identity Crisis” features interviews with activist Riley Gaines, detransitioner Chloe Cole, and author Dr. James Lindsay. It also documents the stories of parents and children who have been victimized by the transgender ideology.
